COVID-19 Testing Update

GCTC Screens all symptomatic patients with a CareStart Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test. All patients who receive the rapid test must also be seen by a provider.

This screening measure assures that patients can be safely treated inside the facility for non-COVID-19 related illnesses and ailments.

The Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test is not available for asymptomatic patients or patients who do not want to be seen by a provider. The RI Department of Health has set-up various COVID-19 test sites throughout the State for rapid testing.

All patients will be seen on a walk-in basis.
